It attracts hundreds of showroom quality classic American cars and thousands of tourists to Taranaki every February and is a big hit with locals.

That’s when thousands of car enthusiasts join the simply curious at Auckland’s Ellerslie Race Course to see the country’s biggest line up of classics – many of them rated among the world’s best restorations.

Repco Beach Hop
Beach Hop started in 2001 and remains a not for profit event, with all proceeds going to the local Onemana and Whangamata Surf Life Saving Clubs as well as the Whangamata Volunteer Coastguards.
