Classic Cover SP Tools Tool Kit Competition Terms & Conditions
Competition period
The Classic Cover Tool Kit Competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Classic Cover Insurance Limited (“Classic Cover”).
The Competition opens at 12:00 am on 30 August 2026 and closes at 11:59 pm on 30 November 2026 (“Competition Period”). All times are New Zealand time.
There are two SP Tools tool kits available to be won:
- One tool kit for an eligible existing Classic Cover customer.
- One tool kit for an eligible person who obtains a Classic Cover quote during the Competition Period.
Existing customer draw
All eligible Classic Cover customers will automatically be entered into the customer prize draw. No separate entry is required.
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold a current Classic Cover insurance policy at the close of the Competition Period.
- Have all premiums and payments relating to your policy paid and up to date at 11:59 pm on 30 November 2026.
- Meet all other eligibility requirements set out in these Terms & Conditions.
If your policy has been cancelled or lapsed, or your payments are not up to date at the close of the Competition Period, you will not be eligible for the customer prize draw.
Quote draw
To enter the quote prize draw, you must obtain an eligible Classic Cover insurance quote during the Competition Period.
Quotes may be obtained through the Classic Cover website, over the phone or through another authorised Classic Cover quote channel.
You do not need to purchase a policy to be eligible for the quote prize draw.
Each eligible person will receive one entry into the quote prize draw, regardless of the number of quotes obtained during the Competition Period.
Existing Classic Cover customers may also enter the quote prize draw if they obtain an eligible quote during the Competition Period. However, a person may only win one prize through this Competition.
Eligibility
The Competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who meet the relevant eligibility requirements above.
Employees of Classic Cover, its related entities and organisations directly involved in administering the Competition or supplying the prizes, along with their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
Classic Cover reserves the right to verify an entrant’s eligibility before awarding a prize.
The prizes
There are two SP Tools tool kits available to be won, with one prize allocated to the existing customer draw and one prize allocated to the quote draw.
Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside Classic Cover’s reasonable control, Classic Cover reserves the right to substitute the prize with another item of equal or greater value and/or similar specification.
Prize delivery is limited to New Zealand addresses unless otherwise agreed by Classic Cover.
Winner selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries in the existing customer draw.
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries in the quote draw.
The draws will take place following the close of the Competition Period.
Winners will be contacted using the contact details held by Classic Cover or provided when requesting a quote.
If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within five business days of being notified, Classic Cover reserves the right to select another eligible winner.
Winners may be required to provide information to confirm their eligibility before receiving their prize.
Privacy and publicity
Personal information collected as part of the Competition will be used to administer the Competition, confirm eligibility, conduct the prize draws and contact the winners.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with Classic Cover’s Privacy Policy and applicable New Zealand privacy laws.
By accepting a prize, a winner agrees that Classic Cover may use their name and photograph for reasonable promotional purposes relating to the Competition, unless otherwise agreed.
General terms
By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Classic Cover reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not meet these Terms & Conditions or who Classic Cover reasonably believes has interfered with or attempted to manipulate the entry or prize draw process.
If Classic Cover subsequently determines that a winner was not eligible to enter or win, Classic Cover may require the prize to be returned and may select another eligible winner.
If the Competition cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances outside Classic Cover’s reasonable control, Classic Cover reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the Competition.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under New Zealand law.
To the extent permitted by law, Classic Cover will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance or use of a prize.
Classic Cover’s decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection and administration of the Competition are final.
The Competition is governed by New Zealand law.
This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
